Description of the Company

Created in 2005, Prorentsoft activities' are concentrated toward optimizing transports and logistics.
From specific studies to computerized solutions, Prorentsoft supports partners into their strategic decisions of rationalisation as well as dealing with direct services to transports, to all logistics into territories.
Prorentsoft co-develops and provides a commercial added-value to research from the CNRS ESPACE UMR 6012 laboratory of Geographie and the laboratory of computer sciences (LIFC) from Avignon's University .
These two entities have tied strong scientific relationships with the University of Franche-Comté computer laboratory (TADVANCE).
Prorentsoft relies on a strong scientific network.

Main tasks attributed and previous experience relevant to these tasks
Prorentsoft commercializes and supports the continuity of applied sofwares under licence into the field of Demand Responsive Transport, Routing Optimization and Operational Research.
This computerized solution engages geographical informations, along decisional systems for all transport solutions. These services aim toward more flexible transports organization, collective and individualized, since they are in effect only upon demand of the users.
These services are insured by adapted, reactive and available local vehicles.
These solutions are in use in several French territories:
since 2001 in the city of Besançon (DRT 'Evolis-gare') with Resad², and since 2006 in the "Pays du Doubs-Central" with Galeopsys (DRT 'Tadou').

Prorentsoft has been selected in the context of ANR's project (Agence Nationale de la Recherche): research and innovative ground transportation with Modulobus project.
Its experimental territory will be in cote-d'armor with its partner ITS Bretagne and Conseil Général.

Short profile of the people who will be doing the work:

Alain Guillas created this company three years ago.
With a background of transport studies, he has been in charge of the countries sales of the francophone market (France, Quebec, DOMTOM) for a cruise company.
He has twenty years of experience into sales and management in the fields of tourism and transports.

Sylvain Saunier is R&D engineer in demand responsive transport (DRT).
He has a masters degree in computer science with optimization and decision support specialization from Avignon's computer university.
In 2005, he worked at ESPACE UMR 6012 laboratory from Avignon with Dr. Didier Josselin on a matrix generator based on a new approach of topology's modelling of road network
and he was involved in development of software (Galeopsys) to manage a point to point DRT.
He also improved a prototype software( Resad2) to manage a convergent service of a central point (train station for example).
In 2006, he has joined Prorentsoft and has developed a web service that incorporates Galeopsys’s and Resad2’s kernels of optimization.

Sebastien Bock is an engineer in Computer Science from the Orsay's Computer School.
With 14 years of experience, he has led numerous projects in the field of multi-site account's transfers , statistical web application to large companies, website for management of travel agencies.
He joined with Alain GUILLAS Prorentsoft in 2006. He worked on the optimization of commercial tours for tour operators. This optimization aims to increase the number of visits according to the constraints of passages in different agencies to visit. This project is in co-development with the LIA-Avignon's computer laboratory.
He participates on the work regarding Demand Responsive Transport.

Mathieu Barge is graphic designer and video editor graduated at the Université de Provence, Marseille.
He worked during 2 years in Clicknshoot (web video factory) as a video editor and web designer.
He also worked in Red District (contemporary art gallery), where he edited architecture oriented documentaries for museum such as the 'Musee d'art contemporain de Marseille', 'Musée du Pont du Gard '(Projet Navarra) and for the gallery.
